Aromatic nose filled with ripe black raspberries, cherries, violet and some savoury and toasted spices. Fruity, powerful and fresh palate, a touch more new world in its personalities. Almost full-bodied, some bites at the edge of the bold structure. Finish is clean but somewhat rough due to the prominent tannins for now. Though lacking some depth and balance, the purity of fruits is delightful for a wine of this price range. A good candidate for a restaurant’s house wine. Drink or keep for the next few years.
