Aiming for elegance, restraint and the ability to age, acid is bright and there’s generosity of flavour. Typically it shows white flowers, citrus, and nectarine notes.
Alcohol Content: 10-15%
Country: Adelaide Hills, Australia
Tasting Notes: Stone fruit and citrus notes dominate the nose, and continue onto the palate. The palate shows restraint and subtlety, with flavours of lemon zest and grapefruit, with a biscuity note. There is also intensity and weight to the palate, held in check by a seam of crisp acid that keeps it fresh and tight.
Pairing: Blackened flathead with Uncle Garth’s tomato chilli chutney.
